The storyline of Mulawin started to crumble just when Alwina died. And now that she is alive, it seems the story is back on track. The insertion of the parrots or the Perigo was an ugly diversion and the preview of the Encantada, another television fantasy series of GMA 7, within the fantaserye was not exactly a very welcome strategy either. Just the same, the story is beginning to accelerate again as we learn that the queen of the diwata (G Toengi, who will play the role of Enteng Kabisote's step mother-in-law in a movie that will be shown in December 2004) does not want Alwina to leave Encantadia for some reason yet unknown to viewers.

After G Toengi, Tanya Garcia is the newest addition to the cast of Mulawin. She first appeared as an eye then later as the winged creature, Paloma, who rescued Aguiluz before the cops were able to put him in jail.

 

G Toengi is also one of the additions in the show. She plays the Queen of the Fairies or Reyna ng Engkantada.
